REFORMS OF THE UPPER CHAMBER OF PARLIAMENT IN THE CONDITIONS OF MODERN CONSTITUTIONAL AND LEGAL REFORMS: MAIN TRENDS AND PROSPECTS OF DEVELOPMENT

This article analyzes trends related to improving the place and role of the upper chamber of parliament in the context of constitutional-legal reforms carried out in Uzbekistan and the countries of Central Asia. Issues about upcoming tasks to improve the legislation in the Senate of the Oliy Majlis are considered, taking into account the new edition of the Constitution. Concrete proposals and recommendations were put forward on existing problems in this area and ways to solve them.
