Abstract

The article analyzes the legal framework, basic laws, and programs of the UK crime control system and considers the possibilities of adapting this experience to the conditions of Uzbekistan. In particular, the legislative system and preventive strategies of Great Britain, public cooperation, experience in using modern technologies, as well as changes in the crime rate in this country, the reasons for the increase or decrease in certain types of crimes, achievements in this area, and existing problems were studied. The research used methods of general analysis, comparative legal analysis, synthesis, observation, generalization, induction, and deduction. The effectiveness of the laws and practical programs of Great Britain was assessed and considered as a useful model for Uzbekistan. In particular, proposals were put forward to increase citizen participation in ensuring local security, introduce safety standards in urban planning, and integrate preventive measures. Practical recommendations were developed for improving the mahalla system and the activities of law enforcement agencies in Uzbekistan, with important directions for strengthening public trust and reducing crime. The research results will serve the development of the existing regulatory framework and practical mechanisms in Uzbekistan, as well as open up new ways to ensure the active participation of the public in the fight against crime and the effective use of modern technologies.
