OʻZBEKISTONDA BOSHQARUV TIZIMINI TAKOMILLASHTIRISH ISTIQBOLLARI

Abstract

This article examines the reforms that have been implemented in our country in recent years to improve public administration. The importance of a number of necessary administrative reforms that were expected to be implemented in the sphere of public administration in the years after independence, including in the activities of the government and its structures, was described. This also includes the comprehensive reforms implemented in the organizational structure of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the Presidential Decree of 2022 “On measures for the implementation of administrative reforms of New Uzbekistan,”  as well as discussing the legal concept and definition of such bodies as ministries, state committees, agencies, and inspections, which are among the central bodies of public administration, in terms of legal, scientific, and practical aspects of their status and powers. In addition, theoretical advice was given on such issues as further improvement of the organizational structure of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, its optimization, reduction of duplicate bodies, unification of their functions, as well as the granting of organizational autonomy to the central bodies of executive power in individual directions. Public administration reforms are based on greater protection of citizensʼ rights and freedoms.
