Ushbu maqolada tabiiy resurslardan oqilona foydalanishni huquqiy ta’minlashning o‘rni va ahamiyati tahlil qilinadi. Ilmiy-huquqiy polemika asosida davlatning tabiiy resurslardan oqilona foydalanish sohasidagi ekologik siyosatining asosiy yo‘nalishlari va tabiiy resurslar to‘g‘risidagi qonun hujjatlarini yanada takomillashtirish masalalari asoslab berilgan. Muallif “tabiatdan foydalanish”, “tabiiy resurslardan foydalanish”, “tabiiy resurslardan oqilona foydalanish”, “barqaror rivojlanish” va “tabiiy resurslardan oqilona foydalanishning huquqiy rejimi” kabi tushunchalarni ta’riflashga alohida e’tibor beradi. O‘zbekiston Respublikasi qonun hujjatlarining yer, suv, yer osti boyliklari, o‘simlik va hayvonot dunyosidan oqilona foydalanish sohasidagi umumiy va o‘ziga xos xususiyatlarini tahlil qilindi. Bu boradagi qonunchilikning asosiy kamchiliklari belgilab berildi, shuningdek, tabiiy resurslardan oqilona foydalanish sohasidagi qonunchilikni takomillashtirish bo‘yicha xulosa va tavsiyalar berildi.
