Legal basis of prosecutor’s supervision over the execution of legislation on minors

Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the regulatory legal acts that ensure the rights and legitimate interests of minors in our country. Also, while ensuring their rights and freedoms, the legal framework was systematically studied, ensuring the implementation of prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of the legislation on minors of the prosecutor’s office, and proposals were developed for their improvement. In addition, on the basis of analytical statistical data, some organizational issues related to the activities of the prosecutor’s office in the field of minors were analyzed. It is noted that a number of cases of violations of the law in the activities of some supervisory bodies in the field of minors are fraught. In particular, according to the results of an audit carried out by the prosecutor’s office in the interdepartmental commissions on juvenile affairs in 2020, more than 100 documents that contradict the law were canceled at the protest of the prosecutor, and about 150 were adapted to the law. Therefore, in order to ensure a clear and uniform organization of legislation, state bodies directly working with minors have developed proposals and recommendations for improving certain regulatory documents.
