ABOUT THE REGULATIONS OF LEGAL LANGUAGE IN THE ACTIVITIES OF A STUDENT-LAWYER

Abstract

In professional speech practice, a lawyer should not use a spoken language that is not adapted to a clear designation and clear qualification of certain actions, processes, deeds, etc. At his service is a specially developed subsystem of official business speech – “legal language”, which has a sufficient number of various expressive means. By skillfully teaching law students the skills to use these tools in legal texts, they can professionally describe any objects and actions in their future activities. This article deals with the skills of forming the legal speech of future lawyers as well as describing the features of the legal text as the language of administrative and legal activities. In addition, the syntactic characteristics of the official business style are considered, highlighting the features of the legislative sub-style, such a grammatical category as variance, which is often used in legal texts and ways of distinguishing it, as well as the variant possibilities of the Russian language system and the issue of improving the level of language training of a lawyer.
