Abstract

The study analyzes the legal nature of digital property as an object of civil rights, its role in civil circulation, and problems of legal regulation. The aim of the study is to reveal the theoretical foundations of the institution of digital property, conduct a comparative analysis of foreign experience, and develop proposals for improving national legislation. The research was carried out on the basis of comparative-legal, systematic, formal-legal and historical-legal methods. As a result, the criteria of digital property as an object of civil law were determined, and the directions for improving its legal regulation were substantiated. The results of the research can be used in lawmaking, judicial practice and scientific research.
