Abstract

The article analyzes the legal framework for the use of renewable energy sources using the example of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. A classification of regulatory documents adopted as a result of reforms in the economy and energy system, efforts to achieve stability, and the legal framework for the transition to alternative energy sources in our country in recent years has also been presented. The study examined the legal basis and current prospects for the use of renewable resources in Kazakhstan, as well as the legal criteria for interstate cooperation in the field of development. The role of using renewable energy sources in achieving a phased transition to an environmentally safe, green economy and socio-economic development is unparalleled. The author analyzed the laws and regulations adopted for the development of the industry as a result of reforms carried out jointly with neighboring countries, as well as promising plans for the production, storage, and supply of energy from renewable sources to consumers. In the conclusion, the proposals on the use of clean, green, renewable energy sources and the rational use of natural resources, which are the main blood vessel of the economy, to solve the problems of anthropogenic climate change on a global scale and prevent ecological degradation are based on the opinions of industry experts.
