In strengthening the national currency in the Republic, the main task is to increase the purchasing power of the sum and ensure its stability. It is known that the electronic currency system of developed Eastern countries also shows their bright future. Of course, the development of the electronic currency system should move step by step. In this case, it is achieved by filling the market with competitive products and creating the necessary needs; producing national production when filling the market with consumer goods is of decisive importance. Because through this, the share of national products in the total volume of sales of consumer goods is increased. The purpose of our work is to analyze the social relations and their legal foundations related to electronic currency in our country and world practice and to identify the features and prospects of development of the electronic currency market in the international arena and to develop proposals on improving the electronic currency market and the payment process through it. The object of the work is the social relations associated with the electronic currency and its legal regulation. It is worth noting that ensuring the stability of the sum through the expansion of national production does not deny the import of products from abroad. Imports are also encouraged in order to provide the population with high quality foreign goods. The stable validity of the sum depends on the fact that it is a sufficient foreign exchange reserve, freely exchanged for any currency.
