THE SIGNIFICANCE OF DISTRIBUTED DATA REGISTER (BLOCKCHAIN) TECHNOLOGY IN PREVENTING CORRUPTION

The use of distributed data registry (blockchain) technology is becoming increasingly important in countries around the world. In global practice, this technology is widely used to safely and transparently store digital data in the prevention of corruption. In Uzbekistan, the use of digital innovation capabilities, particularly blockchain technology, is of great importance in this regard. The article examines the concept, content, and role of blockchain - a modern technology used for secure and transparent data storage - in digitalization. Reducing corruption by increasing transparency in the digitalization of public services will also help to strengthen trust in public institutions. This determines the relevance of the topic. The author also analyzed some legal and institutional aspects of the development of this technology in Uzbekistan, including the legislative norms adopted in our country on the widespread introduction of modern information and communication technologies into the sphere, the expansion of interagency electronic cooperation in the provision of public services, and the digitization of existing databases. The role of blockchain in ensuring the reliability and security of data and preventing corruption has been studied. Also, in the study, international experience in the application of this technology in various fields was analyzed based on the methods of comparative legal analysis, synthesis, and observation. In the conclusion, based on the results of the analysis, proposals were put forward for the use of blockchain technology in the fight against corruption.
