CLASSIFICATION OF CHILDREN’S RIGHTS: A SYSTEMATIC ANALYSIS OF INTERNATIONAL AND NATIONAL LEGAL APPROACHES AND IMPLEMENTATION MECHANISMS

This article provides a systematic analysis of the place of children’s rights within the modern legal system, their classification, and the foundations of international and national approaches. Children’s rights are examined as a distinct institution of human rights, characterized by their dependence on the child’s age, psychophysiological development, and need for social protection. The study classifies children’s rights into civil (personal), socio-economic, and cultural rights in accordance with international legal approaches and highlights their interdependence. It also analyses the rights to protection, development, and participation, emphasizing their role in the formation of a child’s personality. Using the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan as an example, the article examines the place of children’s rights in the national legal system and substantiates their division into constitutional, social, and special protection rights. The findings demonstrate that a comprehensive understanding of children’s rights, the improvement of implementation mechanisms, and the clarification of the state’s positive obligations are of considerable scientific and practical significance.
